Tatiana Sallins ’18

Law Student and Vice President, North American South Asian Law Student Association

Tatiana I. Sallins (she/her) is a second-year law student at The George Washington University Law School, where she focuses on litigation, public service, and government practice. She currently works with the Office of the United States Trade Representative, supporting matters at the intersection of trade, administrative law, and federal litigation, and has previously externed in both federal and state courts.

A San Diego native and proud OLP alumna, Tatiana has long been engaged in public-facing leadership and storytelling. During high school, she served as a co-anchor for PTV, developing a strong foundation in communication, confidence, and engaging diverse audiences. She continues this work today through mentorship, public speaking, and volunteer service.

Tatiana currently serves as Vice President of the North American South Asian Law Students Association (NASALSA), where she builds community and creates leadership opportunities for students across the United States and Canada. As a first-generation college student, she is deeply committed to expanding access to professional spaces and helping young people envision careers beyond traditional paths. Her legal background includes experience in criminal law, campaign strategy, and judicial chambers, where she has worked closely with judges on research, writing, and case preparation in high-impact matters.

Her current theme in young adulthood centers on balancing ambition with service, embracing curiosity, and using each chapter as an opportunity to grow and give back. Tatiana is honored to support this year’s OLP Symposium and help empower young women to step confidently into their futures and draw strength from their sisters.
