Lead Systems Engineer for Blue Origin

Llonda Bins-Lohman joined Blue Origin in 2023 as the Lead Systems Engineer for the Blue Origin second stage engine avionics suite.  She then moved to the Lunar programs where she led the Systems Engineering team for the Lunar Crew Module and now is the Requirements, Verification, and Certification system engineer for the Blue Origin CisLunar Transporter Vehicle.  In these roles she has been able to fulfill her lifelong dream of working in the space industry on a variety of products.

Prior to starting at Blue Origin, Llonda spent over 20 years in the Aviation industry.  She worked on many programs from business jets, to 787, to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Throughout her career she has become known for tackling challenging issues with high performance teams and leading these teams to resolve issues in short periods of time.  She has helped drive certification and testing programs on several airplane platforms with the Federal Aviation Administration, European Union Aviation Safety Agency, and the United States Military.

In her spare time, she enjoys SCUBA diving, skiing, and traveling with her husband.
