Founder & CEO of Sipwell Wine Company

Hilary Cocalis is the Founder & CEO of Sipwell Wine Company, a premium award-winning canned wine brand she launched in 2021. Hilary follows a proud family legacy of entrepreneurship as a 4th generation Black business owner, though she is the first in wine. Before starting on this entrepreneurial journey, Hilary was the VP of Marketing at Ballast Point Brewing Co. and Constellation Brands, and has over a decade of experience working with food & beverage brands. She also currently serves as a consultant and advisor to emerging brands, and is on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Blood Bank. She has a masters degree in Arts Journalism from the University of Southern California and a BA in African American Studies from Harvard University. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Encinitas, CA.
