Haley Meyer

Director of Community Relations, San Diego Gulls Hockey

Haley Meyer is in her second season with the San Diego Gulls as Director of Community Relations. In her current role, Haley manages all philanthropic initiatives related to the hockey club, including the San Diego Gulls Foundation, which raises funds and runs numerous educational programs, such as the San Diego Gulls Learn to Play and Reading is the Goal programs. She oversees the team’s Signature Events, in addition to in-game fundraising, awareness nights, charitable ticket programs and grants to various nonprofits in San Diego County. The San Diego Gulls Foundation has contributed more than $800,000 to the San Diego community since its inception in 2016. Haley joined the Gulls during the 2021-22 season, bringing nearly 10 years of nonprofit fundraising and special event experience to the
team.

Prior to joining the club, Haley served as Director of Special Events for The Old Globe Theatre where she was responsible for over 100 events annually, including developing, managing, and executing all philanthropy department events, donor recognition events and cultivation events. She previously held roles throughout New York City, including Director of Special Events with the World Monuments Fund, as well as special event roles with The Boys’ Club of New York, The Frick Collection and the Museum of Modern Art. Haley earned a bachelor’s degree in Art History with a minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma, in addition to a master’s in Art History from Hunter College. A native of Oklahoma City, Okla., Haley resides in North Park.
